Today's Horoscope!

This is my horoscope for today....

No matter where you are today, people are hard to predict. It's one of those days when little outbursts flare up all over and you may find that things get pout of hand -- temporarily.

How true this is...

What a Beautiful Day…

Ever notice how sometimes the stars look the same, sometimes they are just there, pretty but just there. Especially when you are having a rough patch. Well my dad changed my stars, my world has changed, the stars are sparkling brighter and the hopes for better days have already started. I don’t think there is a way to say “Thank you” that would ever really show how much he has made a difference in my life. It doesn’t end there, it goes from me on to my three kids and then on to those who are truly happy for me. My stars have an extra sparkle and shine brighter, only better things can be expected when your stars are changed.

Let’s see in the past two days I have been given a beautiful van, loaded with everything…I’m still like a kid in a candy store. Watched my dad and Bonnie get so silly your eyes teared and cheeks hurt. I had a wonderful trip with my dad and Joe…drove back in style. Stopped to visit Joe’s aunt Irene in Saskatoon. We took our time and enjoyed the ride. Got home, picked up Karen and then found our two older kids home. It was nice. Things just fell into place, and my stars are shining brightly.

Beads and leather

Karen beaded this mirror, she is doing a great job...the picture is kinda dark cause the flash totally blinded the picture. She did this entire thing herself.

These are the leather pouch necklaces that I made. Pretty huh?

Beads and Painting....

Here is one of the necklaces that I made using some longer beads, not sure if I really like how it turned out. It's much prettier without the glare.

My latest attempt at painting. I really liked it...I like using buttons...I think I might even start using some beads. Who knows, I might get better...

My busy little Care Bear

Karen and I made some daisy pens, super easy to make and a whole lot of fun. She did give most of them away...we even sprayed with with perfume to make them smell pretty...

Sledding with Rae-Dean...it was fun!

Some random necklaces that she made...getting good huh?

Check these out, she made these all by herself. I have a talented little girl on my crafty hands. I'm proud of her so much......

Prickly Pear Jelly?

Yes, it's true...Jelly made from real prickly pear cactus plants. I have never been to Arizona, but I did hear of how they like to eat the prickly pears. Since we live in the cold and flat province of Saskatchewan and Prickly Pears are hard to come by, I was so happy that my boss brought me a jar to try. I must say that it is very tasty...if you have the chance to try it...do it...do it...it's good!

I would like to try the pan fried version...it's on my list of things to do, should I find myself in Arizona.
